I am a mama of two wild, silly, amazing little beings and because of them, I have the patience of a saint who drinks a ton of water filtered through coffee grounds.
Before my son was born, I specialized in weddings! Once that boy learned how to run, I switched my niche to children- particularly the ones who don't hold still, love to wander, and occasionally throw tantrums. Because of my kiddos (one of which has special needs), I can whole-heartily say I am an expert chaos wrangler.
My main hobby is traveling the world to hike, preferably in the prettiest places with the least amount of people.
Growing up, I was always the kid with a camera in her hand. After high school, I completed my Associates Degree in Photography and started my business in 2010- I'd like to say I've been kickin' butt ever since.

Day in and day out, I hear, "my kids would NEVER sit long enough to take pictures" and so those people just...well..go without...
Children are children for only about 12 years of their entire lives. Let them explore and run mad and not smile or sit still. Embrace the world as they live it because soon they will be living in the same world that we know.
One that's not so colorful.
My approach to a family session is plopping your child in the middle of nature and letting them show me what they do. And photographing that. And you? All you have to do is watch, and embrace, and laugh if you want or snuggle if you need, but just be.
Because those images are going to be the memories you really wish you had saved and cherished.
