Hannah + Parker – Married at Applegate Ranch
What a day! On May 4th, Hannah and Parker FINALLY got married at the amazing Applegate Ranch in Grants Pass, Oregon. And. Let. Me. Tell. You.
Drenched in rain or sunshine, this wedding was one for the books. Check it out.
How it started:
“We met our freshman year of collage at Southern Oregon University (SOU). We had the same university seminar lecture all year long where we became friends. Eventually we caught feelings for one another and started talking everyday. Our friendship blossomed from there.“
Their proposal story:
“It was a day trip to the beach for Hannah’s ‘birthday’ with some friends. We went out to lunch and walked around the shops in Brandon until we wanted to walk on the beach. [It] was so windy and cold but Hannah had no care in the world. Parker anxiously paced back and forth on the beach while everyone else waited for him to propose and to snap photos. Right before Hannah jumped into the water, Parker proposed after struggling to get the ring box out of his pocket. It was so special and perfect. We wouldn’t change it for the world.”
Applegate Ranch
“We chose Applegate Ranch because of the amazing price package you get with the beautiful view. Amy and Jesse assisted us in wedding planning throughout the year which helped stress levels immensely. The venue itself is beautiful and local, which is important to us. It’s surrounded by trees, open skies, and felt like it captured us as a couple. Our favorite part was the deck and tree, but the keg urinal sealed the deal.”
Some advice to future bride & grooms:
“It’s easier said than done, but try not to stress or worry about every detail being perfect. The vision you want for your big day will come together, it just takes time and patience. Make sure you communicate with your vendors, family, bridal party, etc. about timelines and expectations. When the day is here, enjoy every single moment and let every worry go.”
